The Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) is a completely non-invasive way to gain valuable information about your body’s vital functions by finding patterns of stress. Meridian Stress Assessment uses physics and energy to assess a problem by measuring the conductivity of the entire body
Herbal medicine is the study of pharmacognosy and the use of medicinal plants, which are a basis of traditional medicine. Products made from botanicals, or plants, that are used to treat diseases or to maintain health are called herbal products or phytomedicines. We utilise herbal medicine as well as homeopathy.
Homeopathy is an alternative medicine based on the theory of treating 'like with like'. It stimulates healing responses to diseases by administering substances that mimic the symptoms of those diseases in healthy people. Homeopathic products are often made as sugar pellets to be placed under the tongue.
Acupuncture points have been known for thousands of years, and the principles of electricity have been understood (at least somewhat) since before the 1600s. It has been known for many years that acupuncture points have different electrical conduction than the surrounding tissues. Changes in these electrical readings in conjunction with disease states has been investigated extensively. Meridian stress assessment instruments that measure electrical conduction at acupressure points have been around for over thirty five years. They have been used widely in Europe and virtually around the world for allergy testing as well as for a variety of other purposes. These instruments, however, have been used for only a few years in this country. Meridian stress assessment instruments have been manufactured in Germany, Japan, China, France, Denmark, Russia, and more recently in the United States. Many double-blind studies have been done using this technology. In fact, most of those practitioners who use them have set up a blinded test situation of one kind or another before they really believe that these instruments actually work. Hundreds of patients have been tested in a double-blind fashion where the patient did not know what they were being tested for, and the instrument operator did not know anything about the patient’s reactivity. These tests usually compare favorably to the patient’s history and to testing by other techniques.
Herbal medicine, also called botanical medicine or phytomedicine, refers to using a plant’s seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for medicinal purposes. Herbalism has a long tradition of use outside conventional medicine. It is becoming more mainstream as improvements in analysis and quality control, along with advances in clinical research, show the value of herbal medicine in treating and preventing disease.
Some herbs have potent (powerful) ingredients and should be taken with the same level of caution as pharmaceutical medications. In fact, many pharmaceutical medications are based on man-made versions of naturally occurring compounds found in plants. For instance, the heart medicine digitalis was derived from the foxglove plant.
